Social media projects for boosting intercultural communication by means of learning English

The paper is targeted to explore the intensification of communication among culturally diverse students by means creating social media groups. In frames psycholinguistic experiment, Ukrainian and Chinese were working together at detecting common, similar distinct features in idioms from Ukrainian, English languages. They intented decode phraseological picture world Chinese. Participation group enabled participants’ exchanging opinions ideas process learning English. Such intercultural interaction outlined national-axiological characteristics English, their outlook behavioral patterns. Pedagogical observation interviews with participants revealed that students, who participated project, learnt traditions, speech etiquette norms other nations, fostered speaking writing skills. It was noted democratic, uncritical open-minded style allowed build informal cooperation, develop tolerance fellow overcome self-doubt get motivated communicate students.
